It's been some time since I managed to get any writing done. I packed up and left New Orleans a couple of days after Christmas and spent a few days near Death Valley ringing in the new year.
I got back to California and actually managed to get a few days work; doing props on a live event show; I've done props one other time in my life and I've never done a live event show, proving once again that even after 30+ years in this industry, there's still plenty to learn and experience.
However, I'm out of work again which on the plus side gives me time to write, train jujitsu and get back in shape, but being of limited funds, it's not so much of a plus.
It's been great to be back on the West Coast.
You don't know how great you have things until they're gone, or something like that.
Glad to Be Back
I'm really going to keep this post short and fill in the blanks as it were in upcoming blogs, because I have so much to do today, laundry, jujitsu, looking for set dressing work, stretching, etc. etc.
Jon Danniells is an adventurer and traveler, a teacher and student, a husband and a father, a cook and a farmer, a "week-end warrior" (very amateur athlete) and has not earned any money on these labors of love. When I googled myself what showed up first was my IMDB listing, which is basically a resume for my 20 and then some year career in film, for which I fortunately do get paid.
